Sidney's trip to Japan

I went to Japan on October 19, 1999. I met my friend, Gary, in Fukuoka.

The first day
I took the DargonAir to Hiroshima first and then changed the train to Fukuoka. Since I arrived late. I had dinner with Gary and did nothing special.
The second day
I visited the city with Gary. We went to Tenji Chikagai, an underground street with shops, museums and Fukuoka Tower. When you go up tower, you can have a good view of the city.
The third day
Since Gary wasn't free, I went to Huis Ten Bosch, Nagasaki, by myself. It took 2 hours to get there by train. Huis Ten Bosch is a beautiful theme park with lots of Dutch buildings.
The forth day
I went to the Harmonyland. There are many cute popular characters. I saw the parade. However, my overall comment isn't good. The park is childish.
Then I took the train to Beppu. There are many hot springs there. (I finally appeared, hehe)It was funny to see steam everywhere.

The fifth day
I went to Space World. It is a nice place with many interesting things to see and exciting games to play.

The sixth day
Nagasaki, attacked by an atomic bomb during WWII. I visited the museum, the parks. They reserve many old western buildings.

Besides the western ones, you can find the Chinese ones too. I went to the temple and Chinatown. I had been away from Hong Kong for 6 days and were happy to see something Chinese.
At night I had dinner with Gary.

The seventh day
We went to the temples together. Here is our photo. After having a lunch buffet, I left Fukuoka for Hiroshima. It was because my railway pass would expire the next day.
The eighth day
I stayed in Hiroshima for 3 nights. I mainly went shopping. I returned Hong Kong on October 28.

THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT
